After our trip to the Road Race, on Monday we headed to Stratford for the our first trip to the Olympic Park (we have a couple of other visits over the duration of the Paralympics) and today I want to share a couple of photos from our arrival at the park
We were expecting queues at security so were thrilled to get the and get through in just a few short minutes… but once you are through… there is a moment when you catch your breath… because its awe-inspiring. One of the roving journalists on Chris Evans show on Tuesday mentioned this, that more than anything, he loves the look on people’s face when they arrive.
The colour scheme is very sophisticated, with lots of “London Pink” and “London Blue” everywhere but it’s incredibly well organised.
The first thing you notice (you can’t help it) is the Stadium itself and this is the image I want to leave you with tonight…
