Christmas Tags – Getting Started…

Between now and {that word we don’t mention – but hey… lets me rash…} Christmas we will be decorating and delivering a tag each week. Now I am no Tim Holtz but I do love playing with tags but what do we mean by Tags?

Well… lables, the sort you tie on presents but in the creative world you can also put them on cards or as standalone peices of art. And Here are some of the Basics that I suggestion you look for

Tag Bits and Bobs….

What you need:

  • Tags – I use standard Manilla style but you can cut your own (take a rectangle of card and snip off two corners on a short side of card and then punch a hole in the card between them…)
  • Paint and Mists – to give all over coverage and a background to work on
  • Stamp – to add focus to the foreground and “umpf” to the background
  • Ribbons – to Tie in the Top
  • Die Cuts – Again to add focus
  • Anything Christmas you have to hand – bits of paper, last years cards, stickers… anything you have you can use on Tags

From next week we will be showcasing a Tag and explaining how we made it – come along and join in

Thanks for Reading
