I have been looking for a good all round “Bread Book” for a while, I love the idea of Fresh Bread at weekends but I needed one that would challenge me but also teach me the basics. After chatting to friends and reading reviews I decided to go for Bread Revolution by Duncan Glendinning & Patrick Ryan.
This book does start with the basics and then moves you through a wide range of sweet and savoury breads.
The instructions are simple to follow and there is a lot of extra details to make an excellent loaf. I can recommend you start with the basic white loaf and sourdough – both recipes give great results.
If you are starting off with Bread Making or want an “all-in-one” manual – then I can recommend this one.
