Monday Inspiration – Celebration

The BMB household is in celebration mode this week, Mr BMB has been in Munich following Chelsea in the Champions League and we are gearing up for the Jubilee and Olympics (watch out next week for a special week of Jubilee Crafting!) So I thought I would have a special Celebration Themed Inspiration. Starting with a colour scheme to get the baking and making juices flowing

I love the colours in this scheme

Firstly – if you are wanting to make some Bunting to Celebrate – there are some great Patterns to down.. This Site, Activity Village has every size you want including Dolls House Size. And if you want some square or triangle Union Flag Bunting – then Click Here.

Go on and Celebrate…

If you are looking for suppliers – then check out this place, based just out of Lacock in Wiltshire – the Wiltshire Scrapstore is a great source of cheap odds and ends, perfect for some Half Term Crafting and Jubilee Celebrations.

If you are looking for a celebratory photo opportunity this week – the Olympic Torch is coming to the West Country, its in Taunton tonight and Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire tomorrow and Wednesday. If you want to find a spot near you – Go to the London 2012 Website.

Finally a Celebration Cake to share, I think the most important thing to remember when making a Celebration Cake is to combine flavours that the person you are celebrating loves, for me this is Chocolate and Caramel.

Have a great creative week and tell me something that you are celebrating…

Thanks for Reading
