Here are the second part of my photographic record of our trip to the Riverside Arena at the Olympic Park… or the Smurf Turf as it became known as.
It’s a long time since I have been to a hockey match of world-class calibre and, being a traditionalist, I was very pleased to know that we had two teams from my childhood – Pakistan and Indian.
The tickets we had meant that we were in the corner and we could see the whole pitch, whilst having a clear view of one of the goals! We had a brilliant day.
