Project Life – Getting Back to Basics

My crafting time over the last couple of weeks has been taken up with the procuring and stroking of stash, making Christmas Cards and wrapping presents, which is a bit of an art form in the BMB house. But I decided to keep to my Layout-A-Week challenge and go back to the basics of Project Life.

I am doing the Catch Up with Project Life course over at Big Picture Classes and one of the challenges has been to use three products and this LO uses only three, plain card, glimmer Mists and Baseball Cards.

I like using glimmer mists to complement grass as I can recall a conversation with Shimelle many years ago about how all green grass is not equal and matching green grass with cardstock is not easy as you move around the world.

With Glimmer Mists you can use a range of inks in small doses and match the grass.

This layout tells our story about learning the finer points of baseball and how we had to translate baseball terms into Cricket terms… So Strike became Ball and Ball became No-Ball, we had to ask for help!

The beauty of Project Life was that I could capture this story quickly and effectively…
