JYC – December 17 – Christmas Lists and Plans

Over the weekend whilst I was waiting for the box to dry, I picked up my Journal-Your-Christmas. I am just over half way through this now as I was going to roll the January prompts into my annual Project Life for this year, my “Book of Days”.

As I now have enough photos to start on this, I want to get on and finish my JYC project (as we are now into March…) so there may be another concerted blast over the next few weeks to get it finished. Crafting is no fun if you are just doing it for the sake of doing it.

So… back to the Journal, today was about making lists and plans and one thing we always plan is our walks. and this prompt is about just that.

JYC_0301_DetailI wanted to play a little with depth on this Layout so I used my {new} blending tools to colour the background and then added very stark black rub-ons to pop off the page. Looking back at the album this is the first block of black I have used apart from where there has been typing on pre-printed cards.

JYC_0301_FinalIt made me realise just how soft this album is going to look at the end if I get this far through with no black!
