A friend’s husband is having a birthday this week, so it was a perfect opportunity to get out the Tim Holtz “Crazy Bird” Stamps. I am using this for two challenges:
I have talked about this before, but what makes a Masculine Card? Here I have gone for neutral background with some of the “Die Cuts with a View” Hessian Paper to add a little texture. But I have stilled added some sparkle with Kanban’s gold on kraft cardstock.
If you haven’t seen, Chameleon Pens have increased their total number of pens from 20 to 50, which allows you to add even more depth to your colouring. I also added a lot of glossy accents to ensure the designs “popped”.
The advantage of the “Crazy” stamps for me is the dies which go with them. They make building cards with multiple elements a doddle. The designs are substantial enough for me to be able to add further depth of the design by rubbing the back of designs gently to stretch some of the fibres, making the designs curve.
