Here’s One I’m Making – Christmas Cards 2017 (part 1)

It’s that time of year, OK, its past that time of year… Its beginning to look at lot like Christmas (Cards). For a round up of all my Christmas projects, check out my Christmas 2017 page.

I knew this year was going to be a busy one in the summer so I decided in the summer to keep this years simple. Also I had fallen in love with Crafters Companions flipper dies and I knew these would be the perfect base. (If you are looking for ideas on mass producing cards, Big Picture Classes has some brilliant lessons on this subject this year!)

I took me on productive evening to cut out 25 bases. With these designs, you have one die to cut the flipper adn you can use your other two outer edge dies to work out exactly where you need to position it correctly.

You need to take the two edge ones away so only the circle one remains. Not as easy as just using an A6 base but very satisfying when they are all cut.

I decided on two sets of embellishments. Firstly the greeting will also be a Crafters Companion Die, this is from Sara’s Signature Collection – Scandinavian Christmas

Secondly on the reverse, I decided to add some ready cut die cuts, my lovely Stampin Up demonstrator sent me earlier in the year, the perfect shape and size. They are from this years catalogue so contact Kerry if you are interested!
